About this Book
This inspirational design book presents a multitude of ways to create a sanctuary in every room of the home. Known for her minimalist interiors that are infused with natural elements, Clodagh provides many solutions for tackling the complex demands of today’s living by addressing the senses with grace and beauty. She shows how to shape indoor and outdoor spaces that will free the mind and make a fulfilling tranquil environment. Whether it is a sensual bedroom, soothing spa bathroom, or a lively common room that can also be transformed into a quiet lounge, she provides ways to cleanse and balance spaces. A useful feature is her "Top Nine" visual checklist of essential design elements. With its beautiful photography, Your Home, Your Sanctuary is the ideal source for achieving a harmonious yet practical home.
Praise
“An inspiring guidebook for green design.” ~San Francisco Chronicle
"A 'Top Nine' visual checklist of essential design elements, as well as striking photography...makes this follow-up to her popular Total Design a fine addition to the minimalist's library." ~Traditional Home
"...her new book...shows readers how to create a harmonious yet practical home." ~Celebrated Living
"...Clodagh was green before most of us knew there was a problem..." ~Metropolitan Home
"luxurious yet minimalist designs fill the pages of this book..." ~Newsday
“…perhaps the most beautiful pages are simply juxtapositions of atmospheric images, come of them interior details and some details from nature: grass, tree trunks, water, pebbles, even a wild hare. More than any of the practical advice in the text, these visual collages tell us about Clodagh’s sensibility.” ~InteriorDesign.net Magazine
