While we have no set format for proposals, it would be helpful to include an outline, sample chapters, sample designs, and/or sample art. If you are submitting a photography portfolio, we look for a consistent theme carried throughout as well as an innovative or unique approach to the subject matter. Please include title captions with images.
Your proposal should give our publishing board a strong idea of what the project will be. Please do not send original art. Do include a self-addressed envelope with proper postage if you would like your material returned. Please be aware that due to a large number of submissions, it may take up to twelve weeks to receive a response from us. Providing an email address will encourage a more prompt reply. Please do not follow up on the status of your submission unless it is urgent; submissions will be returned within the twelve weeks unless you are directly notified by an editor.
