About The Author

She is a widely traveled writer whose work on assignment in Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Caribbean has appeared in the New York Times, Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Town & Country, the Wall Street Journal, and other publications.

James Scherzi is a photographer whose career spans over 30 years. His award-winning photographs of architecture, food, lifestyle, and more have appeared in publications such as Architectural Digest, Better Homes and Gardens, Bon Appétit, Family Circle, Gourmet, Metropolitan Home, Rolling Stone, and the New York Times Magazine.
