About The Author

Anna Nilsen is an author, illustrator and devisor of novelty, puzzles and games books, CD-ROMs and jigsaw puzzles. Whilst Head of Graphic Arts at Cambridge School of Art, Anna Nilsen was invited to develop ideas for puzzle books by Walker Books. Five years later she retired from education to concentrate on her freelance work. She has since worked for LEGO[registered], The National Gallery and The Chicago Institute and won several international awards for Art Fraud Detective. Anna Nilsen has now published over fifty titles and there are many more in the pipeline. Anna lives in Cambridge. Joanne Partis is married and lives in Horsham, West Sussex. She has just illustrated two of the popular Start Science titles for the Chrysalis Educational list.
