Missoni: Iconic Italian Fashion

A celebration of the acclaimed fashion label whose designs combine bold color, vivid patterns, and exceptional textures with an extraordinary sense of balance and elegance.

This is the only truly comprehensive and fully authorized book on the fashion and textile house, created with full access to the brand’s extensive archives. It showcases classic and contemporary patterns along with vintage archival material including patterns, designs, advertisements, photo campaigns, and more.

This volume has been designed to juxtapose and contrast images, texts, drawings, color palettes, fabrics, and fashion patterns. A cultural and fashion icon since its founding in the early 1950s, the brand celebrates elegance and artistic expression and is known for its collaborations with great photographers, illustrators, historians, connoisseurs, artists, writers, journalists, and fashion editors of the day, including Balthus, Antonio Lopez, Diana Vreeland, Anna Piaggi, Enzo Biagi, Tonino Guerra, Brunetta, Maria Pezzi, and many others.

With previously unpublished material from the family’s personal collection as well as the company archives, this new, compact re-issue is a look into the creative and artistic world of one of fashion's most iconic brands.
