Rosie Sanders' Apples

First published as The English Apple in 1988, Rosie Sanders' Apples is the most trusted authoritative guide to apple identification in the UK.

Featuring more than 140 of Rosie’s glorious watercolor illustrations, this comprehensive guide depicts the range of form, texture, color, and shape characterizing varieties such as Cox’s Orange Pippin, Worcester Pearmain, Granny Smith, or Blenheim Orange. Each apple illustration is accompanied by a short description, a cross-section drawing, and a list of characteristics, from size and shape to seeds, stalk, and leaves.

The meticulous attention to detail makes this the definitive guide to identification, as well as a source of inspiration for apple growers everywhere.
