Log Cabin Quilt Blocks: 100 colour and pattern variations

100 contemporary patchwork designs using the popular log cabin block.

One of the most widely used patchwork techniques, the log cabin block consists of sewing strips of fabric—the logs—around a central square. In this book, textile artist Catherine-Marie Longtin guides the reader through 100 contemporary designs of this much-loved technique.

Techniques and step-by-step instructions show how to make the blocks, while diagrams of each block come complete with exact measurements of each strip of fabric. Once completed, the blocks can be stitched together to create unique quilts of various designs.
