About The Author

Jonathan Rachman was born in the Lampung province of Sumatra, Indonesia, was educated in Lausanne, Switzerland, and he has made San Francisco his home. One of America’s top interior designers, Rachman has received acclaim and multiple awards, and has been featured in renowned publications such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Decoration, House Beautiful, Homes & Gardens, and Travel + Leisure. His Market Street store in San Francisco has been featured in the Louis Vuitton City Guide. A costume design graduate from the Wimbledon College of Arts, Dean Rhys-Morgan worked alongside legendary fashion stylist Isabella Blow at Tatler magazine. He has written on the decorative arts for numerous publications, including the Telegraph and the Sunday Times, and published books such as Bold, Beautiful and Damned: The World of 1980s Fashion Illustrator Tony Viramontes (2013). New York–born photographer Douglas Friedman has captured some of the world’s most remarkable interiors and architecture projects for magazines including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Vanity Fair, and Harper’s Bazaar. Recently, he began shooting highly stylized environmental portraits in fashion and portraiture for international publications. Suzanna Scott is an interiors photographer, Drew Altizer is an events and portrait photographer. Marc-Antoine Coulon is a French artist, painter and illustrator. His work regularly appears in international magazines including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Madame Figaro, Elle, and Transfuge. He is the author of Paris: Fashion Flair (Flammarion 2019). José Manuel Alorda is a Spanish interior and architectural photographer living in San Francisco.
