The publication includes creations by National Artists Ramon Valera and Salvacion “Slim” Lim Higgins, celebrating Filipino artistry and craftsmanship, and traces the terno’s evolution through local traditions, cultural milestones, and global fashion influences. About The Author

Gino Gonzales won a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue an MFA in Theater Design at New York University. A practicing scenographer, lecturer and published author, he has also written essays for Vogue Philippines and Arts of Asia. Sandra Castro is a former curator of the Intramuros Administration and Ayala Museum and has published works on Philippine material culture, especially textiles, and history. At Maculangan was a visual artist and photographer who regularly contributed to the Philippine editions of Elle Décor and Town and Country. He meticulously documented and published volumes on Philippine museums and private collections.
