Son of legendary shoe designer Sergio Rossi, Gianvito spent twenty years working for the family business. He founded his namesake Maison in Milan in 2006, where he has been presenting his collections ever since, while maintaining his firm artisanal roots in San Mauro Pascoli in Emilia-Romagna, one of the most renowned regions in Italy for the production of luxury footwear.

Pierre Léonforte has split his time, for both life and work, between Paris and Milan since 1996. Co-founder of the Louis Vuitton City Guides, he has written many travel guides and luxury furniture- and design-focused monographs that have been published in France, Italy, and Germany. As a journalist, he is a regular contributor to French magazines including Les Echos Série Limitée, Beaux-Arts Magazine, L’Opinion/O2, and “niche magabooks” Passager, Faux Q, and Schnock.
