Where Industry Meets Nature: The Sustainable Architecture of Nongfu Spring

An industrial design language informed by the landscape, revealing the world of Nongfu Spring through its factories across China.

In Harmony with Nature: The Sustainable Industrial Architecture of Nongfu Spring explores how industrial design need not be an intrusive presence in the world, but can become, thanks to dedicated efforts by firms, an added value.

Showcasing the company’s factories across China, the book highlights architecture that reflects Nongfu Spring’s values of sustainability, transparency, and social responsibility. Through thoughtful integration with the surrounding landscape, attention to local culture, and a commitment to environmental stewardship, these industrial spaces demonstrate that functionality, beauty, and ethical responsibility are the core tenets of a harmonious coexistence.
